Reasons which make us the best choice for you!
We Focus On Teaching
Teaching is all we do. We are not a retail store that sells instruments or sheet music. This leaves us free to specialize in one thing; providing the highest quality of music & acting instruction.
University Trained Teachers
Our instructors are highly qualified and many have extensive performance experience. Most importantly, our instructors strive to relate their teaching to each individual student's learning style. Many of our university-degreed teachers have either studied or taught in NY,
All Ages - Beginners to Advanced
Our current students range from 3 years old to many students in their 60's and 70's. We take care to teach what you want to learn, striving to make educational experiences more rewarding for students of all ages and levels.
Private Acting Coaching
Private acting coaching teaches and reinforces concepts and principles taught in our classes. The benefit of this type of teaching environment is that you have the teacher’s undivided attention. Individualized attention means your needs are met and given the highest priority. Those beginning their professional career will also benefit from advice on choosing headshot photographers, proper compilation of a resume, and career guidance. Private coaching works well as replacement or as a supplement to any class.
Regular Performances
Recitals and concerts are held at least twice a year. These provide students with performance experience and build confidence. Participation in music festivals, competitions and workshops is also available. Most class sessions end with small performances to give the student an opportunity to perform what they have learned. This does not apply to our pre-school classes since a parent attends the class with the child.
Quarterly Student Progress Reports
Every 3 months. our teachers fill out a progress for each student. Progress reports guarantee that students and parents are informed of strengths and improvement opportunities. This information will also be considered when selecting our “Student of the Year”.
Mini-Arts Performing Arts Program
Creativity comes naturally to children and it is important to foster their budding talent. These classes encourage children to build imagination and exercise their bodies and voices through games, arts and crafts, and music. Whether we travel through outer space or make our own musical instruments, your children will have the chance to explore and express their creative side while building self esteem and just having fun.
